How do I use Calendar View for Events in the ADDA App?

The Calendar View shows all community events in a monthly calendar format, similar to the calendar on your phone. It helps you quickly see upcoming events and whether you plan to attend them.

How do I open Events in the ADDA app?

  1. Open the ADDA app.

  2. Tap More (the last option at the bottom of the screen).

  3. Select Events.

You will see a list of upcoming community events such as board meetings, social gatherings, or maintenance schedules.

How do I switch to Calendar View?

  1. Open Events.

  2. Tap the Calendar icon in the top-right corner.

Events will now be displayed in a calendar layout.

How does Calendar View work?

  • Swipe left or right to move between months.

  • Tap the month or year at the top to jump to a different date.

  • The current date is highlighted for easy reference.

  • Events you have marked as attending appear filled in blue.

  • Events you are not attending appear with a blue outline.

  • Tap the Filter icon at the top right to narrow down the events you see.

Example:
If your HOA has a board meeting on the 10th and a community BBQ on the 15th, both will appear on those dates. If you’ve marked yourself as attending the BBQ, it will show as filled in blue.

Can I search for an event?

Yes. On the Events page, use the search option to find a specific event before switching to Calendar View.

This is helpful if you are looking for something like “Annual Meeting” or “Holiday Event.”

How do I mark whether I’m attending an event?

  1. Open the ADDA app.

  2. Go to More → Events.

  3. Open the event you want to respond to.

  4. At the bottom of the screen, select:

    • Yes, if you plan to attend

    • No, if you do not plan to attend

Your selection is saved immediately and will be reflected in the Calendar View.
